Should we care less?

Hardly anyone to judge people who become lovers before friends. Just wondering how many people became friends once their relationships faded. If you are both fairly level headed and have good communications this should not be a problem. I have never become good friends with a former love... lately I have tried a couple of times but the truth is that what i want in a friend is different than what i want in a girlfriend or love how to call. I have not found that to be true at all. And as for "nothing more" than friendship? For me the friendship stage of those relationships has been deeper and less drama-filled and more satisfying than the stage where physical intimacy was shared.
